Support Aerial Gilbert:On October 18th, world class athlete, rower and Perkins Ambassador, Aerial Gilbert appeared in her 5th Head of the Charles Regatta. Perkins Possibilities Gala: Each year, Perkins School for the Blind hosts its signature Gala event bringing 600 friends of Perkins under a tent on campus for an exciting evening complete with a cocktail reception, dinner, special musical guest and a one-of-a-kind live auction. Perkins Chosen as Official Charity of 2009 B.A.A. Boston Marathon®: Each year, over 25,000 runners participate in the world’s oldest marathon – The Boston Marathon. Thank you to everyone who participated in our "Act Like An Owner" Celtics online raffle last month for a chance to win center courtside tickets and VIP amenities to the Celtics Home Opener on Tuesday, October 28th. With the support of the community, $43,000 was raised for Perkins. Congratulations to raffle winner Buddy Ead of Pepperel, MA.
