Annual Vision 5K Race: Held on June 20th at Boston College, supporters who walked or ran went the extra mile to raise funds and awareness for organizations such as Perkins School for the Blind, the Carroll Center for the Blind, MAB Community Services, and National Braille Press in their mission of providing critical services for adults and children with visual impairments. 2010 Perkins Possibilities Gala: On May 6, 2010, over 700 of Perkins friends joined us for an exciting evening complete with a cocktail reception, dinner, one-of-a-kind live auction and special musical guest, Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead. The 2010 Perkins Possibilities Gala brought in $1.4 million, far exceeding the 2009 gala fundraising total of $1.27 million. Learn more about our exciting night! |
